My name is Jeff and the first thing you need to know about me is that I believe three simple words can blow up your life and change the world for good. Jesus is Lord. You should try living them sometime in the near future. The next thing you need to know is that I am inextricably connected to a growing family. Jeff and Kristen are working on year 7 of wedded bliss, and together they have an unstoppable, four year old force princess named Emma, and a precocious, fire ball of a son named Finnegan. Other fun things to know about me: I was homeschooled through high school, SPU was the university where I liked to pretend to be a smarty, ultimate Frisbee and church softball are passions, Safeway Grapefruit soda is rapidly supplanting Mountain Dew as my soda of choice, and I loves stories. Both the telling and the hearing, so get over here and lets start telling and living the best stories ever.
y! My name is Ruby, I am the Assistant Director of Student Ministries. I’ve been on staff for almost 6 years, and am a native of Connecticut. Though I’ve spent my whole life until coming to KCC on the East Coast, I am settling quite nicely into the world of West Coasters. I’ve had chances to go crabbing, clamming, drive a moped (mo-ped) and step in the Atlantic Ocean...if you know me you know I am all for adventures. My greatest passion in life is seeing people's lives transformed by God. It made a huge impact on me to have people come around me during my high school/middle school years - to hang with me, reflect Christ to me, and challenge me to live life differently. I am excited to be a part of engaging youth and young adults, like myself to an authentic community of believers where they can grow, share, and be challenged in life together. This is what's drawn me into ministry - to be involved in leading others to Christ and into relationship with oneanother!
